Nurse Aide Course Requirements and Fees
Students can take the Nurse Aide course for an extremely competitive price! We also can offer interest-free payment plans to qualified students. Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Fees
The HHA Training is a 75-hour course that consists of 59 hours online and 16 hours in our skills lab. Ask about our weekday or weekend options for the skills labs. For more information or to register for the upcoming course contact Julie at (703) 801-1180 or request an appointment online.
Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Tuition Includes:
・All educational materials for both online course work and hands-on skills lab activities
・Hands-on experience in the lab with multiple skills stations that simulate working with actual patients
・Stethoscope and blood pressure cuff to practice in the skills lab and at home
・CPR -Basic Life Support certification
・One set of scrubs for the skills lab training
・Job placement assistance upon completion
The fee includes 140 hours of training. Enjoy learning in our beautiful new classroom and lab and working with patients doing a clinical rotation at a long-term care facility.

Nurse Aide / Nurse Assistant Course Fee Includes:

Proof of the following immunizations:
- Students need to be at least 16 years of age.
- A government issued photo identification.
- Attendance at a Moon River Nursing Careers information session to complete the Registration form, review immunization records. Applicants also receive the physical exam form and other paperwork necessary for enrollment.
- To reserve a seat in the class, students must make a deposit at the time of registration. We accept payments by check or credit card.
- Complete COVID-19 vaccine (minimum of two shots Pfizer or Moderna or one shot Johnson & Johnson, and a COVID-19 booster).
- Proof of the following immunizations:
1 Negative PPD (TB) within the past 12 months
The last test must be within 1 year of the last day of the class
We will accept the QuantiFERON Gold TB Blood Test
Negative Chest X-ray if there is a positive PPD
Flu shot recommended for classes with clinical dates between October 15 and April 30
Upon successful completion of the Nurse Aide course, students will be eligible to take the NNAAP examination and become licensed Certified Nursing Assistants in the state of Virginia.
