ATTN: The course requires being able to attend skills lab and clinicals in Northern Virginia.
Requirements to enroll in our Training Programs
- Students need to be at least 16 years of age.
- A government issued photo identification.
- Attendance at a Moon River Nursing Careers information session to complete the Registration form, review immunization records. Applicants also receive the physical exam form and other paperwork necessary for enrollment.
- To reserve a seat in the class, students must make a deposit at the time of registration. We accept payments by check or credit card.
- Complete COVID-19 vaccine (minimum of two shots Pfizer or Moderna or one shot Johnson & Johnson, and a COVID-19 booster).
- Proof of the following immunizations:
1 Negative PPD (TB) within the past 12 months
The last test must be within 1 year of the last day of the class
We will accept the QuantiFERON Gold TB Blood Test
Negative Chest X-ray if there is a positive PPD
Flu shot recommended for classes with clinical dates between October 15 and April 30
Moon River Nursing Careers accepts private pay students and those who are approved for federal funding.

During the pandemic, be assured that all training is done in full compliance with CDC recommendations for social distancing. Masks are required at all times at Moon River Nursing Careers, including when prospective students come for an interview. The safety of all our students is a priority.
